I have been really interested in exploring the concept of building a more narrative thread in a single series of images, documenting a little more than just the model. My idea is to collaborate in the model’s personal space and bring in more of his home environment, capturing elements around the room and making them part of the story as well.
This series with native Sevilla model Javier is my first attempt, which I’m calling “Socks, Sneaks and Cigarettes“. Javier was gracious with his time and space helping me explore my concept for the shoot. This was his first ever time modeling, but he was the perfect person to help bring out a more edgy, fetish inspired vibe to the shoot.
